BARTG Contests HF and Sprint

Experts

BARTG Contests contain the class SOE 'Single Operator Expert All-Band' which is defined as "any single operator with a top ten all band placing in any BARTG contest during the previous 3 years".

To help you identify if you fall into this category, our Contest Manager has compiled an Experts List for the 2008 Contests.

Cabrillo Logs

BARTG Contests require all logs to be submitted in Cabrillo format. To assist you with the preparation of your log we have created some sample Cabrillo Logs for both the HF contest and the Sprint contest.

BARTG HF RTTY Contest

The 2008 HF Contest takes place as usual in March. The closing date for entries is 1st May 2008. Please see the Rules Page for full details.

BARTG Sprint Contest

The idea of a sprint contest is to go as fast as you can and make as many contacts as you can in a fixed period.Following the success of the sprint contest in the Autumn of 1998, another one was held in October 1999. In 2000 the Sprint Contest moved to a new permanent date in January. Please see the Rules Page for full details.
