How to Apply for a BARTG Award

Applying for a BARTG award is quite simple, but here are a few rules that will help you, and will also help the award manager process your application.

We accept payment in Sterling cheques, US dollars, Euros, or IRC's (only the new type now please!). We also accept payment by PayPal.

For proof of the contacts, we will accept the following:

  • Photocopies of the QSL cards. (Much safer than posting those precious cards!)
  • A log extract, which MUST be signed by TWO officials of a recognised club. This could be your local club, but it should be affiliated to a national society, eg ARRL or RSGB.
  • A log extract from a BARTG contest. In this case, contacts will be verified with our contest manager.

When applying for an award, please download the application forms; the first is the Award Application form which is a summary of you application. The second is the Callsign List which has space for 33 contacts. If you are applying for the PSK31-40 award, or the QCA award, then please use two forms.

On the application form, we need the following information:

  • Type of award you are applying for.
  • Whether you are applying for an update to an existing award (please give award number where applicable).
  • Your name as you want it to appear on the certificate, and your callsign.
  • Your postal address.
  • An email address if you have one.

When listing the callsigns you are claiming, please list them in DXCC country order. The list should contain the following information:

Callsign, Country, Date, Time, Band and Mode.

Please ensure that each page has the signatories of the two log checkers, where applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT accept SWL cards as proof of contact with a DXCC entity.

Your awards will be endorsed as SINGLE MODE or SINGLE BAND where applicable.
